Chance Darts Privacy Policy
1. Summary
We do not require account sign-up to use the app.
Core app data is stored locally on your device.
We do not sell personal data.
If camera-based AI scoring is enabled in a future release, camera handling rules are described below.
2. Data We Process
A) Data You Enter
You may enter:
- Player profile information (for example: name, nickname, location, preferences, equipment notes, goals)
- Match setup and gameplay data
- Saved game and statistics data
B) Gameplay/Stats Data
The app generates gameplay data such as:
- Scores, turns, visits, averages, checkouts, doubles stats
- Heatmap segment hit data
- Team/league fixtures and match history
C) Device/Diagnostic Data
We do not run our own analytics SDK or ad SDK in the app based on current implementation. Platform providers (Apple/Google) may still provide crash and diagnostic data through their own systems (for example TestFlight diagnostics, Play Console Android Vitals), subject to their policies.
3. How We Use Data
We use data to:
- Run game features (scoring, undo, sets/legs, pots, team/league flows)
- Save and resume games
- Show player/team/league statistics
- Provide audio/haptic feedback and callouts
- Improve stability and fix bugs
4. Where Data Is Stored
App data is stored locally on your device (for example local app storage/shared preferences).
We do not currently operate a cloud backend for user gameplay/profile data.
If your device backup settings are enabled (for example iCloud/Google backup), local app data may be included in those backups by your platform.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your gameplay/profile data with third-party advertisers.
Data may be processed by platform services needed to distribute the app (Apple App Store/TestFlight, Google Play), under their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Camera AI Scoring (Future Feature)
If/when camera-based dart detection is added:
- The app may request camera permission to detect dart hits.
- We will disclose in-app when camera features are active.
- Our intended default design is on-device processing where feasible.
- Unless clearly disclosed and consented, we will not upload/store raw camera video or photos on our servers.
If any cloud processing is introduced in future, this policy will be updated before release and controls/consent will be provided.
7. Audio, Haptics, and Notifications
The app may use text-to-speech, sounds, and haptic feedback for gameplay feedback.
These features do not require collection of personal identity data in current implementation.
8. Children’s Privacy
Chance Darts is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.
9. Your Choices and Controls
You can:
- Edit or delete player profiles in-app
- Delete saved games in-app
- Remove app data by uninstalling the app (subject to any device backups outside the app)

10. International Users
If you use the app outside your home country, your data handling may be subject to local laws. We aim to apply privacy protections consistently.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" when changes are made.
